Has anyone here successfully split their Tivo signal?

I bought a powered HDMI splitter to do this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001D9P1O...=hdmi+splitter) I want to have one cable to go to my Samsung TV and another one to my Xbox One. I cannot get a picture to pass through the splitter I know the splitter is working because I tried it with my Virgin HD box upstairs and that works perfect.

By trying different cables I manged to get a very distorted pink picture but that's it so it must be that the TIVO is not able to do it.

Unless someone here knows different!
