As for the SNP, well I hope they continue to make grand claims for the number of seats they're going to win in May. When they fail to come close to it, they will just look (even more) stupid, even if they significantly improve on their current tally, which they doubtless will.

Anyway, when has a political party NOT vastly overestimated how many seats they're going to win in an upcoming election?
I'd be worried if they said "Nah, we're going to do rubbish, it isn't worth voting for us" to questions of their prospects. That would be silly, maybe the Lib Dems would say that! :p
