Well, I for one don't.

If the SNP win a large amount of seats in the next General Election then they can use that new found influence how they like. Scotland is still part of the UK and has every right for it's members of parliament to form alliances with whom they wish.

Because of our rather quaint First Past The Post electoral system, we don't have much experience with political alliances and coalitions, which are common in Europe and elsewhere. If this was in any country with PR nobody would bat an eyelid at -shock horror- 2 political parties using the old "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" motive.
