My guess is that VM made a final offer and said take it or leave it and LFC declined the offer. After taking a look at their Sky subscription figures they realised that they needed VM more than VM needed them and accepted the deal on the table.
As it appears that Sky were involved in the decision to make the channel a Sky exclusive, it looks like they have compromised and allowed the SD version onto VM.
I doubt that the HD variant will arrive for a very long time, if at all. Still, Sky actually compromising is unheard of  |
7 quid for a channel! unless they've got a LOT more content on there its nowhere near that amount.
