Is this IPTV service something that VM are going to continue doing, or is this just a one off for these obscure channels?

It seems odd to me that after all the time it took to merge ntl and telewest together and bring their channel selections into alignment, we might be on the verge of having different channel lineups depending on what box you have.

If its a case of VM saying, if you want more HD or other great channels, you will need to get tivo (for those codecs), fair enough. I can understand VM wanting to push their tivo product and get rid of older boxes. But I don't understand why they might be moving into a world of different channel lineups, depending on what box you have, just for obscure channels.
