Arsene Wenger has done some remarkable things in the past. I'm not going to dwell on them. Right now he's not achieving much. Do you know Arsenals wage bill? Do you know how far up it is in the league compared to other wage bills? Do you know Arsenal could spend more in transfer windows but don't because its kept for a BIG emergency.. you know like may be Reus will say yes to Arsenal.

My gripe with Wenger is he has neglected the squad for years. He hasn't always been cash strapped. He just feels what he has is enough. When he speaks of Chelsea etc. he goes to extremes. There is a middle road which could be taken. It doesn't stop there though. Not only has he neglected the squad personnel wise but tactically the squad have looked clueless far too many times. I'm not trying to paint Wenger as the devil here. He is still one of thee best managers around in the world. I just expect more where achievable.

This Arsenal squad is strong. It is though a couple players short. Year in, year out this happens. Its not down to funds available.

Arsenal needs change when Wenger goes. Not the same. A fighter like Diego Simeone would freshen the place up. He has worked under constraints in La Liga. I'd get him to start learning English sharpish.
