In my experience, breastfeeding mothers have a pretty good idea how much they're going to expose, and for how long (and that's generally not much, and not long).
If she was comfortable feeding her baby while face to face with you, then she obviously wasn't worried about the possibility of you catching a five-second flash. After that, had you glanced downwards, all you would have seen would have been the back of a baby's head.
