Thought you already had one? Is it better value to buy another box to get the passes that are thrown in?

Indeed.

That's been brought up before, it would seem like an ideal solution, but I doubt VM would want to do it. Cord cutting is becoming an increasing problem (the current strategy is to move channels into lower packages to discourage this). I doubt they would want to encourage streaming channels from a competitor!

Exactly, like I said earlier, if they aren't preventing English channels from launching due to capacity issues and others aren't expected to pay for them I have no problem with foreign speaking channels.

Unfortunately, there are several in the XL pack that i'm on which means i'm subsidising them. I would expect such channels to be premium add on services, maybe VM have calculated that it draws more asians to the VM platform and/or it encourages them to upgrade to XL and is ultimately more profitable?

I realise that we all effectively subsidise channels that we don't watch, but at least we have the choice to do so if they are in English.

Finally, I do not believe that we are a multicultural country, nor that we should be encouraging this- particularly as the population has never been consulted about this social experiment.

There can only be one culture in any given country, that is not to say that minor cultures should not be tolerated as long as they are not problematic.

Enoch Powell's prediction of "Rivers of blood" has come true, but not quite in the way that he envisaged, but that's for another thread.
