Going back to your other point about foreign channels, doctors, nurses, soliders, scientists, shop owners from all over the world come to the UK to earn an honest living and help improve our economy. If they pay Sky or VM why should they not be able to watch content from their home country/continent. If they pay VM so they can watch content from their home country/continent, surely that helps keep the costs down? If I moved to Germany, and I paid a cable provider or Sky equivalent, I would expect to be able to watch at least one channel dedicated to British programming.

Especially now as a few retailers are doing the nowtv box for £14.99 with 3 months entertainment pass, i got one earlier from Currys.
