Your contradicting yourself in an attempt to paint the landlord as evil and nasty .He is paying the mortgage himself he is just using funds from rent to do it as opposed to funds from wages ,when the mortgage is paid off the rent from the DWP will simply go into his bank account making him even more evil and nasty
