Bit the bullet yesterday afternoon - went out to the garage, dusted off the old Sky+HD and scrambled about in the dust behind the AV unit (will clean when the light nights come
) and reconnected everything. Still worked, so I rang Sky and asked to be put on the Family Pack @ £33pm. OK says Sam, for an extra £5pm I can give you Movies & Sport all in HD, 12 month deal - thanks very much. Now looking forward to next July when I can call VM and say thanks, but no thanks.
Not just the slowness of the Tivo which caused this but it was the last straw. The other problems are not particularly Tivo related but EPG, lack of 5.1 On Demand and even lack of HD On Demand, none of which are problems with Sky. Happy to give specifics if required but I am aware this isn't the forum for those issues.
