I'd disagree.
I've had to get VM engineers out twice since joining again in May and each time the process to getting support has been excellent. The VM forum team are polite and courteous and skip the "standard" questions if you can demonstrate that you've taken the basic steps yourself first.
They can improve (especially off-shore) but they're nowhere near as bad as they were in the days of nthellworld, and there are far worse companies out there for customer service (Most mobile networks, power companies etc etc).
