Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)

Problem solved, kinda. Ha Ha. I've just been onto CS, ( Banglore lol), and explained the issue and that numerous others across the country from Scotland down to London are having the same issue. Robot-like time after time, he declared "There is no issue or fault on your local line."

He directed me to go into modem mode and reconnect. He did this for me remotely and with a hard reboot, whilst I swapped my cables around. This worked. I am now onto <12ms ping and back up to 160Mb download speed. (Modem only mode) I asked him if that was the solution, to change mode and back again with a hard reboot, for all the many people on the forum and the people not on the forum who were having the same problem. "Yes", was his reply. I asked him if he acknowledged that there must have been a national fault overnight that has left many users with misconfigured systems. "There is no issue or fault on your local line." "There is no issue or fault on your local line." "There is no issue or fault on your local line." Click. Buzz. Click. "There is no issue or fault on your local line."

Just a quick question. Is it only those in modem only mode getting the problem or is it others too?
