I don't think that's true. BT is currently rolling fibre out across the country whilst VM is expanding in East London and NE England as well as implementing a small FTTC in Papworth. TalkTalk and Sky meanwhile have partnered with City Fibre in York.

Good results there with broadband customers up by a respectable 48,600.
