In any other set of circumstances than matters EU, those facts ought to give us considerable leverage to get what we want- "he who pays the piper" and all that... However, I reckon that remaining in this sinking ship with it's crew deeply divided and the whiff of mutiny in the air, it'll bring us down with far more certainty than if we get out and stop throwing good money after bad. As it stands we'll still be buying more from the EU than selling to it and paying everyone far more for the 'privilege'. What form of madness is this??!!
