I have been given a Sony Bravia TV model KDL-40E40, a few years old but an excellent picture.
I am trying to connect it to my V+ box via HDMI, but it doesn't like the signal that the V+ puts out on its HDMI output. I've tried setting the V+ output to 720 and 1080, but each time the TV shows a message "Invalid signal".

I haven't got the handbook for the TV, but going through the setup menus I can't find any way of finding what HDMI signals it will accept.

I've tried both HDMI inputs on the TV, and used a different HDMI cable. Can anyone advise please? Thanks!
