As qas pointed out, H is better than 3G.
2G (aka GPRS or "G")
3G
HSDPA (aka "H")
DC-HSDPA (aka "H+")
4G (aka LTE).
In a well maintained and uncongested network, H+ is comparable to lower-tier 4G though the reality is that 4G does have much better capacity.
