Er ... If the result is No, then that proves "they" do really want to stay. Democracy and all that.

How young are the young ones in your extended family, and are they male or female? The only demographic where there is a majority for Yes is amongst males aged 19-40. Everywhere else it's a No, of varying sizes. And amongst the new voters, 16s and 17s, it's quite comfortably a No.
