Cool TP Link Powerline

Ive got a TP Link Power-line Adapter for extending WiFi Upstairs and also I have an Ethernet cable running from it to my PC as I use this to download.

I was on 40 Meg Broadband and getting speeds of 37-39Meg using my PC, and Wireless I was getting 16-20Meg

I decided to upgrade my package to the Pro, which meant I get speeds of 62-80Meg which is all I can get in my Area.

My Wireless Devices, I pad, PS4 etc can receive speeds of half my Broadband which is 62 Meg so I'm getting around 30Meg wireless. However my PC which is wired to the TP Link Adapter will only go up to 47-49 Meg

I am presuming that the TP Link I have which says 500Mbs is referring to Megabits not Megabytes, so I assume this is why my PC speed wont go above 49 Meg? If so, How can I get the top speed on my PC without trailing an Ethernet cable all over my house?
