Depends on the sender but most likely lost. The majority of email services will try a few times before bouncing in case it's a temporary problem, however when they get NXDOMAIN errors they tend to not retry anywhere near as much as it's considered a 'permanent' error.

Perhaps I should try squatting it so I can nick everyone's emails the day they go offline.
