That's not really a nice thing to say. While I can see why VM have done this, and that they had no choice, it's not the customer's fault, and while it's not VM's fault they have to do this, I personally think that when they advertise days where you have access to premium channels, they should
make it clear that you will be unable to watch any recordings of any programmes shown during the free day after that free day unless you subscribe to the channel.
So, VM are not at fault for doing it, but they are at fault for not being honest and open about the fact you will be unable to watch any recordings without being subscribed to the channel. They have never (in my experience) stated that you will be unable to watch these programmes after the free day. While I am no legal expert, I feel this *could* be considered false advertising.
Personally, I feel that Meng has every right to feel slightly angry at this, even though the channel was being given freely.
