Except that the SuperHubs have default wireless details, which most people don't change. Leaving them in place would leave a potential security hole in customer's networks.
SuperHub 2's are required to be returned when services are disconnected, and I'm pretty sure that there would be a refurbishment process for those that are returned - same as there is for TiVo boxes.
