Looking at the date you posted this thread, I can't say I was experiencing any issues then (Virgin 50Mb and Macbook), however I did experience an issue yesterday where a song would play and stop after ten seconds or so, however I fear this is because my Macbook is long overdue a restart!
I remember when Virgin Media launched their big spotify offer a while back there was a lot of issues and there was a big thread of complaints about it on the official forum, it was eventually fixed after a few weeks of Virgin Media denying the issue!
