I don't think that Local TV has much of a future. London Live is struggling to survive (and this is in our capital city) and is wanting to reduce costs by reducing their locally produced content to only one hour a day! Their top performing programmes are reruns of London's Burning!

There was an interesting article about this earlier today on Radio 4's 'The Media Show'.
nope i havent even heard about the local channel in liverpool launching. i think thats dead in the water before even launching!
