VM would be subject to an embargo on this if it were to be agreed. This is sensitive for Sky, so you can expect there to be a discreet introduction if the miracle were to happen. If it doesn't happen now, it probably never will!

I was extremely optimistic about Sky Atlantic being added to the VM offer last autumn, but the continuing delay does make one wonder what on Earth is going on. It would be extremely disappointing if Liberty Global were not going all out for this channel, and both sides were reported as being more realistic late last year.

Well, not long to wait to see whether there has been a good outcome to all of this.

But before anyone gets their hopes up, The Guardian was reporting a couple of months ago that SA was not part of the deal.
