Remote unauthenticated reboot + 7 seconds to get in to the web interface and look at key = free wifi! Could count how many people used the vulnerability on the claws of a doge's paws. Four months to fix the problem is still a long time as most will roll out a fix for a security problem quickly, no matter how small the issue is due to how bad it makes them look to the internetz which can be a PR disaster.
I noticed people are not jumping at the chance to try new firmwares like they used to. Now it's a case of
''ll wait until everyone else has tried it to make sure it doesn't b0rk anything"
