Re: Another gaming pc build thread
Really 91fps is not faster than 89fps are you really saying that a card that produces more fps is slower than a card than produces less fps?
Also the Twin Frozr card is overclocked from the NVIDIA STOCK speeds, regardless of how you try to fudge it.
Any card that runs above the stock frequency set by Nvidia or AMD is automatically overclocked, and that means that yes the overclocked card is faster than a stock card but when the stock card is overclocked, that is when you will see the difference or lack off.
A overclocked 780Ti will ALWAYS be faster than a 780 thanks to the faster memory bus, faster memory speed and the fact it has MORE CORES!
In single display mode the 780Ti is faster than a Stock Asus Strix 780 6Gb and also when the Asus card is overclocked it is still slower than a stock 780Ti.
In Surround with 3 monitors where you would expect the 780 6Gb card to come out on top the STOCK 780Ti is faster.
You say I am "either incapable of reading, ignorant to the point of stupidity, or fail seriously at basic arithmetic" but you are the one who is any of those things.
Yes the MSI card might be faster against a stock 780Ti but as soon as you overclock the 780Ti and put it up against the overclocked 780, you will see that the 780Ti comes out on top.
Once the reviews are live from OC3D and Bit-Tech I will post the links here so you can see how foolish you really are.
Yes you may be happy with a slower card, and you may have a great deal of knowledge in the computer hardware industry but when you say that a card is faster than it actually is, then you instantly loose all respect from me!
