Re: Another gaming pc build thread
I got the 780Ti's because my I sold a few older parts to cover the extra cost, I was tempted when the Titan Blacks came out to sell my 780Ti's but to be honest I don't need the 6Gb of Vram at the moment, and I don't need the DP that the Titans offers.
The 780's are good cards don't get me wrong but they can only compete with a 780Ti when the 780 is overclocked and the 780Ti is left at stock.
Next cards from Nvidia are going to be fun cards to have though!!! Lot's of Vram and they will overclock like crazy whilst staying cool and using lower amounts of power than the 780Ti's, but offering around 15% performance improvement when at stock speeds.
I will be waiting for the 900 series though when the true Maxwell cards come out, that will be a worthy upgrade for me especially considering I am going to have a £2k bill at the end of the year when I upgrade to X99.
