Also noted that all/most of the European teams suffered a significant drop in performance from the first game to the second. England poor, Italy poor, Germany lucky to scrape a draw against Ghana, Holland struggled to see off Australia etc.

In my humble opinion l have always felt that a South American side will win the WC and nowt has changed that.
