Unfortunately, due to some of the changes being made bookmarking the web mail inbox directly, e.g
https://mail.virginmedia.com/mail/u/0/#inbox will trigger a Google login page if you aren't already logged in.
However bookmarks without /mail/u/0/#inbox on the end e.g mail.virginmedia.com work as do bookmarks of the link from the page header that you've found.
