but is is better to receive a thank you letter rather than a text or phone call after all it is nicer to receive a thank you letter. I do feel if someone has took the time and effort to give a child a gift the child should say thank you after all it's good manners. My big sister say's that out of all her niece's and nephew's mine are the only one's who have ever sent thank you notes. Steven just phone's or text messages now but he is nearly 22. I remember my Mum used to make me and my sister write thank you letter's so maybe that is where I get it from and yes like my two I used to hate doing it as well.
