People are a lot more money conscious now. If customers are moving between Sky and VM every 18months to make use of the half price deals, it makes sense for both companies to offer the same. Sky will earn money from their own customers and from VM for taking more channels off them.
I don't think Sky would agree with that! Their precious USP (Sky Atlantic) has been the dominant force in their thinking since the VM channels were sold to them!
