If 4K is going to have acceptable refresh rates, we'll also need a new generation of boxes with HDMI 2.0 too. So VM I would predict a whole new VIP++ tier where people are willing to pay not only for the content, but a new TiVo model too. This would have to be cloud-based as no hard drive in the world would be big enough.

The new Panasonic ultra HD sets have 1 hdmi 2.0 connection, if there was someway of getting native 4k content onto them I'd have had one already, $ly are rumoured to be close to testing broadcast of 4k content but as been said don't be thinking of 4k coming to VM anytime in the next few years given a new box would need to be launched.
