Went along to my first Parkrun 5k since August when I had my PB of 23:23 which I was happy with but as I've been training for distance rather than pace since then I was worried I wouldn't get near it. I was hoping to get a sub-24 but thought I'd get 25 minutes-something.
In the blazing hot weather I smashed my PB by almost a minute coming in at 22.25. Absolutely amazed and well happy. My next target is a sub-20
