Re: Firefox 29
When Firefox first updated on my computer, it looked so much like Chrome that I had to check it was still using the Gecko engine (it is).
Installed the Classic Theme Restorer but having played around with the extension's options for a while, decided I really don't mind the new UI. The extension has been used for altering the tab appearance a bit but I'm wondering if I might not actually need it.
With 4 extensions installed and 3 tabs open, Firefox 29 is using 266Mb of memory. Out of interest, I totted up how much Chrome uses with all of its separate processes. With the same number of tabs and 5 extensions, it came out at 275Mb. About the same as Firefox.
