The BT results are in. It gained a net 170,000 broadband customers in the quarter. Its share of new non-cable broadband customers is now 79% whereas pre-BT Sport it was 50%.
BT now has 2.7m fibre customers with a further 2.1m buying the service via Sky and TalkTalk.
In TV, it gained 46,000 new customers to finally make the million customer mark. Its fibre broadband now passes 19m UK homes.
TalkTalk's results are due on Thursday May 15. Will be interesting to see their TV and broadband figures. Previous results continue to show broadband customers moving from the smaller IPSs to the big four.
