He's a typical centre Ajax style centre half, good on the ball with a turn of pace. He would probably compliment Mertesacker quite well but he's young and inexperienced, probably a bit too soon for him in the premier league so I would be inclined to let him develop at Ajax for another couple of seasons.
Not surprising to see Levy making use of other clubs scouting networks as usual.
