Have to admit I find there's far too many sacrifices and hoops to jump through to use all these services with smart DNS , I don't want to watch TV on the computer or have to wire the computer to the TV.

Most of the pay services require a US address and if you want to use the official apps you need a US device , I can see the appeal of Netflix different regions for some though.
