Aslong as the freeviewHD box is compatable then it will recieve VUTV no problem (aslong as your bb is over 2mbs). Wether or not bt or talktalk provide the unicast service to Vutv i do not know but you certainly do not need BT or Talktalk to get it.

What I meant to clarify is that
YouView cannot receive live channels from companies like VuTV, Motors TV and Sky's Now TV as these are sent by unicast.
It can only decipher channels sent by multicast. The only two companies that can send this are BT and TalkTalk via fibre to their respective subscribers.
