The point being if you mentioned Echelon or a exotic leaked project name the vast majority of people automatically assume you are a David Icke nutcase who is talking about something non-existent and thus it's a nonsense conspiracy. Even when there is multiple proper trusted documented evidence pointing towards it.

In this particular case there is still nowhere near enough evidence to say what has happened, although some explanations are more likely than others. The thing is, I wouldn't put it past a government or organisation to knock this plane out of the sky for financial reasons or other unknown reasons. Many have done a lot of other things that are extremely questionable and the chances of getting caught considering the location and other variables would be extremely low in this case. To completely throw this possibility out of the window as a nutcase conspiracy doesn't make sense.
