But until a year ago you were a tin foil hat wearer if you claimed the worlds communications were being logged, stored and eavesdropped on or if you said that intelligence agencies could intercept your requests for web pages and display their own instead. Now we know they were doing it.
There has been some weird angles to this story with this plane but there is little chance of us ever knowing for sure. Like the Al Hilli murder in the Alps, the conspiracy theories that have intriguing factual information surrounding them are the ones that are more likely to be accepted as a possibility.
