I'm no broadband expert but surely fibre delivered right to your door is going to be able to deliver superior speeds , just look at what Google fibre can deliver.
Where did i suggest one offers greater service than the other? Ofcourse fibre optic to the door can offer much greater speeds, i think about 3gbs? not sure about that though. Either way we are a very long way from such speeds.
End of the day companies will continue to upgrade their networks but at what cost?
