Tackles flying in - Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini picks up his 10th booking of the season and as a result will miss the FA Cup semi-final with Wigan.
Which means Wenger will persist with Arteta even though his legs are gone. Arsene Wenger has overseen a stadium move all the while staying in touch with the very elite and for that he deserves recognition, respect but nothing more. Does he deserve to win something? I don't know, I'd lean towards no because he has clearly neglected the team for years when there was scope to push on. I don't believe for one second the players haven't been available, they have. The tactics etc. have been stale at times. I wouldn't mind finishing the season without anything. FA Cup, CL or not I'd like to see a new manager.

Arsenal's season hinges on an FA Cup win, but increasingly it is seeming like the perfect way for Arsene Wenger to bow out

Simply don't get this. You're on the bench and your team have just gone 2-0 down away.
