The Xbox One isn't underpowered. Yes it maybe less speedy than the PS4 but it's still very powerful and once developers get fully to grips with it the game's will look and play a lot better.

Every console has been the same. Look at Kameo or Perfect Dark from the 360 launch. Then look at GTA5 and Forza 4 that are from last 8 months. Graphics have come along way since 2006 when the 360 was new and developers didn't really know how to use its full power.
