It's a legitimate thing to be curious about, given your posts in this thread.
So now you say you have an Xbox One as well because of "overlap", and your "powerful home PC" is actually "[f]or the family for work/uni photo editing, video editing and converting ect.[
sic]"
So why did you previously say that you only buy consoles "for the exclusives that will not appear on PC"?
Which is true?
I find your posts in this thread to be quite bizarre.
You seem obsessed with graphics above all else, and yet you bought an Xbox One four months after launch...
That's four months since the so-called "Resolutiongate" began and it became widely known that COD Ghosts (and Assassin's Creed IV, Battlefield 4, etc.) all rendered at a lower resolution on the Xbox One compared to the PS4.
That's nearly two months since Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition was released and it became widely known that it ran at 60fps on the PS4 and only 30fps on the Xbox One.
You also bought your console after it was widely known that Titanfall only rendered at 792p on the Xbox One and had other performance issues compared to running on a Windows PC.
Given that, and given that you have a PS4, and given that you have a "very very powerful PC that cost £3300 to build in december 2013" and only buy consoles "for the exclusives that will not appear on PC", then why on Earth did you buy an Xbox One?
And why get games for it that are better on the PS4 you also have? Why get Tomb Raider and MGS Ground Zeroes for the Xbox One when you have the superior PS4 versions?
And why get games for it that are far far better on your "very very powerful PC that cost £3300 to build in december 2013" you also have? Why get Titanfall and COD Ghosts (& Tomb Raider) when your PC would run them so much better? Why get Titanfall at all when you previously said here at CF that it's "crap"?
It seems to me that you have only yourself to blame for your mistaken purchase. It's not like you bought it right at launch, you bought it a couple of weeks ago, months after it was known what the gap was like between the two systems (the other one of which you also own) and months after you got your "very very powerful PC that cost £3300 to build in december 2013".
If you don't like it, just sell it and stop whinging about a mistake you could have avoided.

So is that why you bought your Xbox One, then?
