If I had paid £429 for it I would be pretty pee'd off right now,

I'm still curious as to why you bought it at all, given that you have a "very very powerful PC that cost £3300 to build in december 2013" and only buy consoles "for the exclusives that will not appear on PC".
Did you not realise that it would be cheaper to just buy Titanfall and Ghosts for Windows PC instead, with the benefit of them performing far, far, far better on your "very very powerful PC that cost £3300 to build in december 2013" than on an Xbox One?
And why get Tomb Raider, when you also had it on PS4 and could also have had it on your "very very powerful PC that cost £3300 to build in december 2013"?
Given the level of importance you place on graphical power, why did you ever bother with an Xbox One in the first place? I would have assumed that someone like you who places such importance on graphics would have known beforehand that many games on the Xbox One have a lower resolution or framerate than on the PS4? Plus, of course, as you have "very very powerful PC that cost £3300 to build in december 2013" you don't need one anyway to play anything other than Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, and Ryse (games you've not mentioned)...
