I had a SH2 changed for this, exactly the same behaviour, clients disconnected and would not reconnect. New clients not able to connect to the network until the SH was powercycled. Wired connections OK and other clients OK.

After the usual run around from the helpdesk (they actually said the cable power levels were too low) and sent a tech out. Once I explained the problem to him he went straight out to his van and got a new SH. He said is was a "known problem".

Since the new SH the problem has not occurred again.

Still facing problems with my HP printer randomly disconnecting and reconnecting by itself, but thats another story!
