If something like this happened the plane could have crashed anywhere.

Only thing is that it doesn't explain why the transponder and ACAR stopped sending out signals
Could something have depressurised the plane and knocked out the electrical supply at the same time? Would the transponder or ACAR have automatic backup power if this happened?
