The above arrived in packs of 2 pre-charged although I did still put them in the charger until fully charged which was around 2 hours. I've used them in a Wilkinson trimmer and then in a camera taking many random pictures still the battery indicator says 2/3 charge left.

I read Varta and Bosch have close ties ?
