Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news

If I may offer another perspective. My own club having just recently been promoted to the Premier League had to spend a fair amount of money installing various things for the benefit of the broadcasters. One of these things was a studio for live match day broadcasting. Now, it's a tight little ground and, unfortunately, the only place this could be sited was the disabled fans concourse. Our disabled fans were moved, but where they are now is less good and they are quite fairly unhappy about the situation.

Palace have been live on tv a fair few times this season, and are on again this coming Saturday. The studio hasn't been used once.

If the Premier League are going to insist that clubs, at their own expense and to the detriment of sections of their fans, have to install facilities for broadcasters, why on earth are the broadcasters being allowed to ignore them in favour of gimmicks like BT's pitch side presentation or Sky's live studio audience show?
